The
Road to Kadiogne -- Senegal 2006
In
March 2006, I led a group of four friends on a trip to Senegal. Our
mission was twofold: first, we wished to experience the present-day
life and
culture of Senegal; second, we wished to bring school supplies that
had been contributed by family and friends to the small village of
Kadiogne
in northern Senegal. The warm welcomes and generous hospitality the
we received throughout Senegal were wonderful and moving, and I am
hopeful that the old friendships
we rekindled and the new friendships we established will continue
for many years to come. This web site offers you a glimpse of our
